How to become SAFe® certified?

To get certified, you need to first take a course (browse SAFe trainings here). Once you take the course, you’ll be given access to the Community, where you’ll find your Learning Plan. After completing the required exercises and passing the course exam, you will be certified.

Price of the exam and certification process? 

First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee, if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion.

During the first day of your training, you will receive a “Welcome to the Community” email where you can set up your password and get logged in into the SAFe Community platform. If you have registered for a course, you will also receive a notification that a learning plan has been assigned for the course you are attending. This learning plan must be completed in order to receive a certification for the course. The Welcome email will also contain instructions on how to book a suitable time and date to sit the exam.

Can I get an exam extension?

If you are unable to take your exam within the 30-day window, you may still access the exam and can extend your exam deadline from your Scaled Agile Community profile. You are allowed a one-time courtesy extension of 2 weeks. You will need to wait until after your exam has expired to activated the extension. If the launch button is still available, you will need to wait until the day after the exam expiration date to activate the extension. The two-week extension option is available for 30 days after the exam window closes. If you are outside of this window, an Exam Retake will need to be purchased in order to complete the exam. You can purchase the exam retake option through you profile in the SAFe Community platform.

What happens if I fail my exam?

If you don’t pass your exam on the first attempt, you may take it again by purchasing a retake immediately after the first attempt.

If you don’t pass the retake exam, you may try a third time after a 10-day waiting period. The waiting period for a fourth attempt and any additional attempts is 30 days.

You can purchase an exam retake within your Learning Plan. The ‘retake’ button will be located next to your exam. Clicking this button will take you to our payment platform where you can purchase your retake exam.

Prerequisites for taking an exam?

Based on the amendment in Axelos Policy, effective 1-Nov-2019, Axelos training organizations such as ITCE must sell certification training courses only in bundles which include the respective certification exam and an e-book. The Take2 Re-sit and Mock exam are optional.

How to extend your expiration date?

If you have purchased an exam through a Training Organisation please contact them directly to discuss this issue. In case you have booked your exam through PeopleCert directly, simply log in to your PeopleCert account, click on the Overview section, find your exam under ‘My exams’, and you will see the option to extend the expiry date of your Exam Code.

How do I reschedule my exam?

If your computer does not meet our minimum requirements and if you need further guidance, contact us up to 72 hours and no later than 48 hours before your exam.

On your exam day, if the computer you use does not meet the requirements below, we may need to close the exam session and reschedule your exam. If you need more time to prepare, you can reschedule your exam at no charge up to 48 hours before the exam’s start time. If you choose to reschedule between 48 hours and 4 hours before the exam, you will be charged an administrative fee. If you reschedule your exam after this time, you will be charged a higher fee. Fees are dependent on country/currency and tax where applicable.

Is there a re-take policy in case I fail my exam?

PeopleCert offers the Take2 exam re-sit service, at an affordable price, for all exams. It can be added directly to your exam from a PeopleCert Accredited Training Organisation, or you can purchase it along with the exam of your choice in your Shopping cart during the checkout process, or select to add it through your PeopleCert Candidate Profile, up to 15’ before sitting the initial exam. Take2 applies only to the exam it was purchased for, it is available exclusively through Online Proctoring, and is enabled only in the case of a “fail” result. To see what options are available for all other certification exams, please contact your Training Organisation or our Customer Service Team. We have also enhanced our annual PeopleCert Plus Membership with the addition of a Mock Exam, and Take2 – the option to re-sit the exam. Every annual PeopleCert Plus Membership order you place will now include the Mock Exam + Take2.

Exam retake policies

If you don’t pass an exam the first time, you must wait 24 hours before retaking it.

A 14-day waiting period is imposed between all subsequent attempts (up to 5).

You may not take a given exam more than 5 times within a 12-month period from the first attempt. If you failed the exam 5 times, you’ll be eligible to retake it again 12 months from the date of your first attempt.

You cannot retake an exam you’ve passed unless your Certification has expired.

After completing the your AWS training you may include an exam voucher. All AWS Certifications may be earned without completing specific prerequisites. However, AWS provides recommendations for knowledge and experience that are aligned to the content and level of proficiency for each certification. How to register for an exam?

To register for an exam, sign in to aws.training and select Certification in the top navigation. Next, create or sign in to your AWS Certification Account. Select Register for an Exam. Find the exam you wish to take and select Schedule with Pearson VUE button. You’ll be redirected to the test delivery provider’s scheduling page, where you’ll complete your exam registration.

How to reschedule an exam?

You can cancel or reschedule your exam up to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment without additional fees. To reschedule or cancel your exam, go to your AWS Certification Account. Once you reach the 24-hour window before your scheduled appointment, you will not be able to cancel or reschedule your exam. If you miss your scheduled exam appointment, you will forfeit the exam fee and are not eligible for a refund.

Please note that you may only reschedule two times after scheduling your original appointment. If you wish to reschedule a third time, you must cancel and schedule a new appointment.

How to retake an exam?

If you fail an exam, you must wait 14 days before you are eligible to retake the exam. There is no limit on exam attempts. However, you must pay the full registration fee for each exam attempt. Once you have passed an exam, you will not be able to retake the same exam for two years. If the exam has been updated with a new exam guide and exam series code, you will be eligible to take the new exam version.

Prerequisites for taking an exam?

There are no mandatory formal prerequisites for most AI CERTs® certification exams. Some certifications recommend prior experience, such as a basic understanding of AI concepts or relevant professional experience related to the certification you are pursuing. These recommendations are advisory only.

How to order an exam voucher?

To order an exam voucher, you may register for one of ITCE’s AI instructor-led training courses (€290 excl. VAT*), in which case the exam voucher code will be included and integrated into the AI CERTs Learner Portal. Alternatively, you can purchase an exam voucher only bundled with a courseware license. You may also request access to an AI CERTs self-paced training course through us.

All vouchers expire 18 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted.

How to register and book an exam?

You can schedule your AI CERTs® exam once you have an exam voucher. First, you need to register using the online form link sent directly to your email or register directly on the AI CERTs website. During registration, you’ll select your preferred exam date and time. After you complete registration, the support team will send you a confirmation email with detailed course information. All further updates and communications about your exam will be sent to the email address you provided during registration.

How do I reschedule my exam?

You can request to reschedule your exam date and time, provided you make the request at least 15 days before your originally scheduled exam. Rescheduling is subject to availability, so we recommend submitting your request as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

Is there a re-take policy in case I fail my exam?

If you do not pass an AI CERTs certification exam on your first attempt, you are eligible for a second attempt immediately, at no additional cost and with no waiting period.

Every AI CERTs exam voucher includes one free retake. Retakes are valid only for the same exam and the same exam version as your initial attempt, using the same voucher code. All attempts, including your free retake, must be completed before your voucher expires. If you need to attempt the exam a third time or after the voucher expiration, you will need to purchase a new voucher.

How long is my AI CERTs certification valid, and how do I recertify?

AI CERTs certifications are valid for 1 year after the certification is granted. By 1 year from the original issuance, candidates must complete all recertification requirements to maintain a valid certificate. Recertification options will vary from exam to exam, but may include retaking the most current version of the exam.

Recertification Exam Fee ($100): This fee applies to candidates who are seeking recertification after the initial certification period has expired. It includes the cost of the examination required for recertification.

Prerequisites for taking an exam?

All ServiceNow certification exams require successful completion of the corresponding official ServiceNow course. Eligible courses include Instructor-Led Training, delivered either virtually or on site, as well as On-Demand courses.

After completing the course, an exam voucher becomes available in the “My Vouchers” section of Now Learning at learning.servicenow.com. The voucher is valid for one year from the course completion date and can be used only for the first exam attempt.

How to order an exam voucher?

For Instructor-Led courses, the exam voucher is included in the course fee and is provided free of charge. For On-Demand courses, the exam voucher must be purchased separately after completing the course.

How to register and book an exam?

All ServiceNow certification exams are scheduled through Pearson VUE. To book an exam, you must log in to Now Learning, access the “My Vouchers” section and obtain the voucher code. Once registered, you have 90 days to schedule your exam, with the option to reschedule as many times as needed within this timeframe. The exam is then booked through the Pearson VUE platform by selecting the desired exam, applying the voucher code, and choosing either an online proctored exam or a test centre exam. Pearson VUE sends a confirmation email once the booking is completed.

How do I reschedule my exam?

Exam rescheduling or cancellation is managed directly through Pearson VUE. Candidates may reschedule or cancel their exam up to 48 hours before the scheduled exam time. If an exam is missed or cancelled too late, the voucher is forfeited and a new exam attempt must be purchased.

Is there a re-take policy in case I fail my exam?

Exam vouchers are valid only for the first attempt, are personal, and cannot be transferred or reused for a re-take. If a candidate fails a ServiceNow certification exam, a re-take must be purchased separately, and no additional training is required in order to reattempt the exam.

A waiting period applies between attempts, meaning the candidate must wait at least 24 hours after the first failed attempt before scheduling a re-take. If the exam is failed a second time, a 14-day waiting period is required before attempting the exam again. Each re-take is typically charged in the range between approximately USD 150 and 225, depending on the exam.
