We are committed to support our clients in their certification journey by providing high quality training, preparation materials and exam vouchers staying focused on value added training services. We believe the future in certification process belongs to online proctoring.
What is Online Proctoring?
An online proctored exam is a timed assessment via an online platform in which the candidates’ desktop activity, webcam video, and audio are monitored. This allows the online examiners (online proctors) to supervise the assessment process in real-time.
How does Online Proctoring Work?
Exams via Online proctoring work pretty straightforward. You will need a quite space that is comfortable for you and a stable internet connection. When you book a date for your online proctored exam, you will be assigned an online proctor. On the day of the exam your online proctor will identify you via sophisticated technology and will ensure that your testing environment is comfortable, while also adhering to guidelines about what is permitted and what isn’t. During your exam, the Online Proctor will be observing you in a non-intrusive way and will always be available for you should you need any help.
Why Online Proctoring is so popular?
Online proctoring has become increasingly popular because it gives you the freedom to take your exam anytime and anyplace in a secure and reliable way. It allows you to tailor your exam date to your individual schedule and preferences.
SAFe
In order to get certified, you need to first take a course (browse SAFe trainings here). Once you take the course, you’ll be given access to the Community, where you’ll find your Learning Plan. After completing the required exercises and passing the course exam, you will be certified.
First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee, if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion.
During the first day of your training, you will receive a “Welcome to the Community” email where you can set up your password and get logged in into the SAFe Community platform. If you have registered for a course, you will also receive a notification that a learning plan has been assigned for the course you are attending. This learning plan must be completed in order to receive a certification for the course. The Welcome email will also contain instructions on how to book a suitable time and date to sit the exam.
To login to the Community Platform go to – community.scaledagile.com
> Enter your username
> Enter your password
You may reset your password at any time, if needed.
If you are unable to take your exam within the 30-day window, you may still access the exam and can extend your exam deadline from your Scaled Agile Community profile. You are allowed a one-time courtesy extension of 2 weeks. You will need to wait until after your exam has expired to activated the extension. If the launch button is still available, you will need to wait until the day after the exam expiration date to activate the extension. The two-week extension option is available for 30 days after the exam window closes. If you are outside of this window, an Exam Retake will need to be purchased in order to complete the exam. You can purchase the exam retake option through you profile in the SAFe Community platform.
If you don’t pass your exam on the first attempt, you may take it again by purchasing a retake immediately after the first attempt.
If you don’t pass the retake exam, you may try a third time after a 10-day waiting period. The waiting period for a fourth attempt and any additional attempts is 30 days.
You can purchase an exam retake within your Learning Plan. The ‘retake’ button will be located next to your exam. Clicking this button will take you to our payment platform where you can purchase your retake exam.
Voucher validity: 30 days after the last day of the training course

If you are working toward a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, you may have wondered “What is the difference between Contact Hours and Professional Development Units (PDUs)?”.
The main difference between Contact Hours and PDUs is that Contact Hours are accumulated prior and PDUs after your PMP® Exam. Before the exam you need 35 Contact Hours and after you become a certified PMP, you will need to accumulate 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) every three years to keep your certification current. However the content of the training can be identical.
Contents
- 1. The Contact Hours Requirement
- 2. Accumulating and Tracking Your Contact Hours
- 3. Contact Hours Education Providers
- 4. PMP Contact Hours Preapproved Sources
- 5. Contact Hour programs
- 6. Online PMP Exam Prep Classes with Contact Hours
The Contact Hours Requirement
Only 35 Contact Hours are a required to apply for the PMP certificate. One Contact Hour is equivalent to 60 minutes of relevant project management instruction. You must complete all 35 hours prior to submitting your PMP Certification application. In order to be “relevant,” the training must cover one or more of the following:
- Project Quality
- Project Scope
- Project Schedule
- Project Budget
- Project Communications
- Project Risk
- Project Procurement
- Project Integration Management
Accumulating and Tracking Your Contact Hours
Contact Hours are earned by attending Project Management relevant instruction. Unlike the Project Management Experience hours, there is no specified time period prior to your PMP application in which you had to complete your 35 Contact Hours. Any class you took at any age could be counted as Contact Hour so long as it had some project management practices
For example, if your company provided training to use their project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, QTask, or Prolog, you could claim Contact Hours.
Ideally, it is easier to track Contact Hours accumulated from “Project Management” focused instruction. However, any course that includes some project management instruction, the time spent specifically on project management concepts and practices, is eligible, even if it was not the main theme of the course.
Remember that anything on your PMP Exam Application
All PMI certifications require you to meet domain experience levels, educational levels or both before you apply. You will need to provide us with the details of this experience and/or education, so it’s best to gather and prepare this information before you open the application. To find out the eligibility requirements, consult the handbook for the certification that interests you. Each one has unique eligibility criteria.
PMI-ACP: Member – $348; Non-member – $396
PMP: Member – $324; Non-member – $444
PMI-PBA: Member – $324; Non-member – $444
Your application is valid for one (1) year from the date of approval. If you allow your eligibility to lapse, you must re-apply.
If you fail the exam on your first attempt, you can re-take it two more times within your one-year eligibility period. Fees are associated with re-examination. Details for re-examination can be found in the certification handbook.
Validity: Your application is valid for one (1) year from the date of approval. If you allow your eligibility to lapse, you must re-apply.
