Overview
As desktops has evolved, so have methods for deploying and updating them. In this course, students will learn how to plan and implement an operating system deployment and update strategies. With BYOD becoming commonplace and the need for employees to access line of business apps on personal devices, the scope of desktop administration must include both desktop and mobile devices, regardless of ownership.
During this course, students will be introduced to key components of modern management and co-management strategies and Microsoft Intune and how to use it to manage modern desktops and devices. On the last day of this course the students will be introduced to the concept of directory in the cloud with Azure AD and will explore identity management in Azure AD and learn about identity protection using Windows Hello for Business, as well as Azure AD Identity Protection and multi-factor authentication.

Who should attend?
