
October is reserved for one of the most interesting technological events. The conference organized by the Association of software engineers on 25 and 26 October in Sofia, emerged as one of the most significant events for the IT community in Bulgaria. ITARC Sofia 2016 is prepared in partnership with the world’s largest organization for IT architects, IASA.
Two world-renowned names in the field of Enterprise Architecture and IT architecture – John A. Zachman and Paul Preiss will be speakers at the conference. On 24 and 27 October they will lead exclusive one-day workshops for small groups at the ITCE training center.
The Zachman Framework – Solving General Management Problems workshop with John Zachman

John Zachman will be lecturer at the workshop The Zachman Framework – Solving General Management Problems on 27 October. The workshop is using interactive exercises to give the participants a sense of EA modeling style.
John Zachman is the originator of the “Framework for Enterprise Architecture” (The Zachman Framework) which has received broad acceptance around the world as an integrative framework, an ontology for descriptive representations for Enterprises. Mr. Zachman is not only known for this work on Enterprise Architecture, but is also known for his early contributions to IBM’s Information Strategy methodology (Business Systems Planning) as well as to their Executive team planning techniques (Intensive Planning).
ITABoK workshop with Paul Preiss
Lecturer at the second workshop on 24 October will be Paul Preiss, CEO and founder of IASA. He will talk about ITABoK – a free public archive of IT architecture best practices, skills, and knowledge developed from the experience of individual and corporate members of IASA, the world’s largest IT architecture professional organization.
